The food was actually better than expected, the service was not bad. There was plenty of seating and an abundance of employees. I was helped by two different ladies, the first one was a bit sour and the second one was a complete sweetness. Furthermore, the parking situation was very accommodating as there was plenty of spaces close to the door. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

It wss set up a little like a cafeteria line where you pick wad dishes you want My wife liked the Yukca I just had rice and beans, good flavor.

I don't live in Miami, I visited for a few days and I was crazy to try some tamales with the true taste of tender corn. My friends told me that this would be the best place to eat it and it was a big disappointment, the tamale did not taste good, it was not sweet corn at all. I still miss that taste.

In the grill fresh food (meat and vegetables) cooked in front of your eyes. inside all the usual Cuban items cooked very nice considering that is cooked in mass. I highly recommend it. It's a non frill place.

Good place if you wanna have some Atole it reminds me the one back home. Food is ok, too salty for my taste, has a good variety too, big portions, one meal can easily feed 2 people, price is good. Customer service is not so good inside. But outside on the Grill area very friendly staff and you have a different, healthier option. Just tell the chef not too add just a bit of salt and low on the oil. I had grilled veggies and grilled chicken and it was great also big portion can easily share, the price was good too. I will go back but to eat outside on the Grill area.

The food it's good for a lunch rush hour, not for a fancy date ... It's all pre-cooked

Stumbled upon this location last week and it was the best! I loved loved loved the parrilla outside! I had a churrasco sandwich and so did my niece, we ate it up! Cook was very friendly as was the girl at check out. Inside they have latin style food line - it all seemed really good, will be back to try that out!

Inside they are fast, and courteous, outside is a different story, the one person tending the grill has no customer service at all, acouple of times i have left after 15 min without ordering, who has time for this?

I like the Casa Maiz in Hialeah their Food is Amazing. They make the Best Pargo Frito it is large compare to other Restaurants price reasonable & their Shrimp Creole is very good nice portions for price. They have the Best Soups Guiso de Maiz & Ajiaco/Sancocho Yummy Yummy for the Tummy. Their Beans are Amazing Black Beans or Red Beans all their Cuban Food is very good. You can pick up your food & Go it is very clean & safe place to eat highly recommend it. The only things needs improvement is the Girls Customer Service no Smyles and very rude even when you tip them good.

I just keep going back. If not a vegan, go and enjoy some meats cooked on the grill outside. Perfect steak sandwiches for lunch and food to order to take home for dinner.

Casa Maiz has delicious latin food served cafeteria style and cooked fresh on an outdoor grill. Food is homemade and they serve large portions. They also have a selection of fresh squeezed fruit juices.

Portions are worthy of the price. Liked the grill area. Food was pretty good and quick and convenient. Didnt give it more stars because it was your typical Spanish food walk through restaurant. Grab a tray, pick your food, pay at the end.

Hi,Food taste is good like always. The only thing is different is the amount of food related to the price. I use to visit this place since they opened. Like I say quality is about the same but, they cut your food every day more. Now when you pay for a "Completa" depending on the good you can pay around 12 dollars but I am not talking about the price. The price is not cheap anywhere in thg he city ,but for the price they need to give you what you are paying for. Now 1 person can eat all the food they serve and still hungry, before with a "Completa" can eat 2 person, So be ready to spend lot of money and still hungry. To be fair, because not everything is bad , the food taste and quality is good and the place too. Thanks.Enjoy your food.

Food not good at all. Dirty place. To small. Looks like flea market restaurant. Full of people talking and walking all over the place. We were there expecting at least good service as the TV ad announced but It's really disappointing eat or try to it in a place like that. By the way beers are not cold enough. Whit full respect one of the worst place to eat in south Florida and poor customer service. We'll never go there again. If you appreciate quality restaurants and food that is not your option at all.

The most delicious food!Just pick anything. It's going to be the best experience.They make their own Majarete, a refrigerated cornnpourage dessert. They also have a warm version. I ask what it's called all the time, but I always forget. But I will never forget how good it tastes. The sausages outside are to die for. Everything they make there is amazing.Uh...I like it.

Food was great, portion sizes were huge and there were a lot of options to choose from. Lines form quickly and go by quickly even though the service wasnt the friendliest. Overall, it's a good spot to go to if your looking for tasty spanish food with ample indoor and outdoor seating as well as parking.

I visited Casa Maiz this week and the place and its food was so good that I had to come back for more. Food is homelike and delicious, with a lot of options. Staff was friendly and parking was available even at lunch time. I didn't try the grill outside but smelled really good. Best Cuban food in Hialeah!!

Beautiful place with a magnificent menus of Cuban food. The best place to eat arroz moros and others specialities

The staff is friendly; however the food was warm. It is like a cafeteria style restaurant. The food outside was service on carton style container which soaks all the juices from the barbecued steak which comes with not even one side. The inside restaurant has no prices on any board so you have to be asking the friendly staff. At least it did have good A/C and the location is good too. I personally would not go back
